Accessibility

Accessibility for people
with functional variations

We want to hold events that are accessible to everyone, regardless of functional disability. It is difficult to succeed in all aspects of this, but we are constantly working on reviewing venues, texts and other things in relation to our events to ensure that Heartless larp-related larps are as accessible as possible.

Different clubs will look different when it comes to accessibility. Therefore, always refer to the club's own, separate information about their accessibility work, and contact us if you have any questions.

This website has been written with reading disabilities in mind. Please contact us if you need clarification anywhere or if you have suggestions on how we can improve the website.

The NPF project

We are actively working to ensure that our members with diagnosed or experienced neuropsychiatric disabilities can participate in our events without discomfort. In 2024, we therefore applied for a project grant for so-called "fidget toys". The project also includes noise-canceling headphones.

These are available at most of our events during workshops, debriefs and other moments where we are out of character.

Economic accessibility

We always strive for financial accessibility at events held within the Heartless larp association.

This means that in many cases we want to keep prices as low as possible, and that we want to give participants at our events as much as possible for the price they pay.

We want to open up the rave hobby to young adults (and maybe one day even children accompanied by adults) and see a clear problem in that rave venues are becoming increasingly expensive, and thus also the ticket prices for raves. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about that problem, but we can plan events where we financially cover our rave fees, for the time being without any surplus and without paying our rave organizers.

Previously, we have offered participants to pay in part for several of our larger larps, and we also have different price ranges, where discounted prices are included. These discounted tickets are then paid for via so-called "sponsor tickets", where another participant can pay more than the standard ticket costs to give someone else the opportunity to participate in the larp for a cheaper price. Heartless larp organizers are in many cases flexible, and if you need a financial solution that is not clearly stated in the larp information, you can always email heartlesslarp@gmail.com and ask.
